TeamTec high temperature cyclone burning incinerators With type approval from the major Classification Societies. MED certified. Certified in compliance with IMO-RESOLUTION MEPC 76 (40) STANDARD SPECIFICATION FOR SHIPBOARD INCINERATORS, and IMO MARPOL ANNEX VI. 1) High combustion temperature from 850 to 1.200° C (1.560 to 2.190° F). 2) Adequate combustion air (6 to 12% O2) and extremely good air mixture in the combustion chamber. 3) Shock cooling of flue gases. Criteria for selection of proper sized incinerator and sludge tank: • Sludge tank capacity: 2% of ship’s bunker consumption per 24 hrs • Incinerator capacity: Sludge capacity sufficient to burn 1%* of ship’s bunker consumption per 24 hrs during 8-12 hrs/day operation * Note: Some authorities may have more stringent requirements.
